At Career Victory, I focus on maximising the chance for my clients to get hired into a job they love, and I do this via a number of methods. 

The first is through a zoom interview, where I learn directly from you, what your strengths, achievements and goals are. This information is all carefully taken down, and combined into the second step.

The second step is creating and delivering for you, an ATS friendly, accurate and compelling CV. 

A third option, that can be purchased in addition to my CV services, or completely separately, is my interview coaching service. This is geared toward building your confidence so that when you are interviewed 'formally', you are able to articulate your skills, achievements and goals confidently and thoroughly.

My goal is to make your job search easier and more productive, increasing your chance of winning the next job of your dreams.

The biggest variable depends on when you book your zoom conversation with me, as I aim to have your CV updated and emailed to you within 3 working days of that meeting. If you do not book your zoom conversation for 1.5 weeks after paying for the service, the the overall process will take close to 2 weeks. I encourage you to book your zoom conversation as soon as you can. 

Please also remember to email me your current CV copy no more than 24 hours before your zoom meeting. I need this to refer to in our conversation (this does not apply to individuals who have selected the Career Building CV Service if you do not already have a CV or resume copy).

If you have an existing CV but do not share it prior to the zoom call, I may cancel the call and request that you reschedule. 

I aim to have your fully updated and formatted CV completed and emailed to you in word format, within 3 business days of your zoom meeting.

I highly recommend the zoom conversation with me, for two reasons. 

The first is that it is important that I understand more about you, your likes and dislikes, strengths, achievements, goals, style of working and so on - as your future employer will be hiring YOU (not just some statistic) so representing you fully in your CV, is maximised through this step.

The second is that this is great preparation for interviews you will take with prospective employers. Getting comfortable with talking about yourself, what you want, and where you see your strengths best applied in your desired profession is in itself, an important skill to master. 

Going through the zoom interview process with me, will make you more comfortable and confident in doing formal interviews, increasing your chance of being successfully hired into the job you want.

The simple answer is yes. I am currently offering a free CV review service where I evaluate your CV or resume, and return a report to you outlining recommendations that I have. You are free of course to implement all, some, or none of the suggestions, or you can go ahead and order a fee paying service for me to do the work for you.

Most recruitment professionals are dealing with hundreds of applicants for multiple roles per day, and do not have the time to read through a CV or resume that is pages and pages long. 

I personally recommend keeping your CV to 1-2 pages, but ensuring that in doing so you're focused heavily on your key achievements in existing or prior roles, and your core skills related and your career goals. For example, if you have 10 years of marketing expertise, but have spent the last 5 years focused on UI/UX Development, and wish to remain focused on your UI/UX skills, then having a lengthy portion of your CV dedicated to your 10 years of marketing is frankly, irrelevant.

One of the areas I specialise in, is understanding people and how to make their skills, ambition and drive shine. Remember, even Elon Musk at one point had no experience and everyone has to start somewhere! 

Key to showcasing your potential to future employers is the zoom conversation I will have with you, so that the work you are interested in, and experience you have gained so far (professionally or just in life generally) are reflected in CV and that your potential comes across for the roles you're targeting. Absolutely not, for a few reasons. 

Firstly I believe this to be highly unethical, but in reality it also does you no favours. In your job search you should be targeting positions where you have strong existing skills, or where you have developed enough foundational knowledge or expertise, to learn the job responsibilities quickly and be effective for your employer.

If I lie for you or misrepresent your skills, I would be helping to put you potentially into a new job where you would be likely to fail yourself, and your employer. That is not fair to either of you. 

Whilst I cannot control how you choose to promote your skills to future employers, I strongly recommend that you are honest at all times, and focus your emphasis on the expertise, and personal and professional growth you've achieved in your life and career so far - and progress your career journey forward that way.
